In the aftermath of the Marathon plenary session of the extraordinary session which allowed national elected officials to reflect on the votes and political and diplomatic means to get the DRC out of the crisis it is going through.

The president of the National Assembly, Professor Vital Kamerhe arrived in Rabat, the capital of Morocco to take part in the great meeting of presidents of the parliaments of the Atlantic African States which opened on February 06, 2025.

The speaker of the lower chamber of the Congolese Parliament seized the opportunity offered to him by this great platform to launch a strong appeal of solidarity of African countries to face the drama that Rwanda maintains in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC).

Professor Vital Kamerhe, praised the vision of King Mohamed VI of Morocco by bringing together the countries riparian of the Atlantic Ocean to develop a framework for exchanges and cooperation aimed at developing and collective economic growth. A major reason for this call for solidarity with this great country at the heart of the African continent which has so much to give for the emergence of all of Africa thanks to its natural resources in abundance.

“As we tell you about a broken heart that I came because this forum offers me the opportunity to address you my African brothers and other participants on the drama that takes place in the part of my country is more precisely in the province of Ituri, of theNorth Kivu and South Kivu in the total indifference of the world and I would also say in a relative silence of African states while our motto as Africans is solidarity. Wake up, let’s put it together and together we will be strong. Come on Ga currently lives I make a request from my country, solidarity and nothing but solidarity. We have followed convictions everywhere but no sanction against the attackers who have mourn my country as if the life of a Congolese is less than that of a Ukrainian. “ Said Vital President Kamerhe

He also requested the involvement of King Mohamed VI as a great African leader to mobilize the heads of state of the region of great African lakes and Africa on African solidarity because today has -He underlined, Rwanda plunders for over 30 yearsnatural resources of the DRC in the great indifference of our African brothers and the rest of the world.

He recalled that the Democratic Republic of Congo has never closed its borders to anyone but it is a requirement to respect its territorial integrity.
