After 3 months of the parliamentary holidays spent without rest, national deputies have in accordance with article 115 of the Constitution supported by article 68 of the internal regulation of the National Assembly resumed the hemicycle path on Saturday March 15, 2025.
This ordinary session of March 2025 opens in a very particular context, marked by the Rwandan aggression under the cover of its M23/AFC auxiliaries in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Concerned by this situation which has mourn many Congolese, the president of the National Assembly Vital Professor Kamerhe, returned to his opening speech on the diplomatic journey initiated by the lower chamber of the Parliament in line with the action of the president of theRepublic, and in support of the government’s efforts for the return of peace to the DRC.

This ordinary session of March 2025 during which many law proposals will be examined, will also serve as a framework for national elected officials to initiate reforms as well as make recommendations useful for the imminent return of peace to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
